Speed, ease, performance and economy are the essence of Tempack’s Flexible Cold/Frozen Packs. Lighter and much easier to use than other, more traditional cold packs, these flexible cooling elements have found favour with many consignors of perishable goods.
Being non-toxic, the Tempack Flexible Cold/Frozen Packs have been approved for immediate contact with food. Consequently, the likes of fresh foods, truffles, fish, seafood, meat, fruit, chocolates and flowers, among others, enjoy perfectly safe transportation in their correct states for anything up to 48 hours. Not surprisingly, these high-performance thermal packs are an asset in the e-commerce perishables line, particularly where deliveries are concerned. The reasons are plenty.
Even though they’re ideal for one-way applications, Tempack Flexible Cold/Frozen Packs are heat-sealed and manufactured from a tough polyethylene-polyamide amalgam, making them resistant to tearing, piercing or leaking. The cooling gel is water-based with a phase transition at 0°C (-21°C for frozen packs), making it ideal for thermal transportation.
The gel packs will not contaminate your product or packaging. They have been engineered to have a high calorific capacity that prolongs refrigeration time due to an extremely low heat conductivity.
These effective cooling elements for the shipping of temperature-sensitive goods have further appeal. The flexible cold pack is a rapid refrigerant solution, thanks to the ease with which it can be handled. And crucially, it represents a more economical alternative for disposable application than traditional cold packs.
The gel pack is available in different sizes, ranging from 420 to 1000 grams of filling weight, but can also be made to measure. Each pack is designed to be used in combination with insulated containers to provide a complete solution for the transportation of perishable items.

Flexible cold packs are versatile gel packs used to maintain specific temperature ranges during transport. There are two types: cold packs for refrigerated goods and frozen packs for frozen goods. Positive packs are frozen at standard freezer temperatures, while negative packs require ultra-low temperature freezers. Both types conform to the shape of the items, providing efficient and adaptable temperature control for various perishable goods.
Flexible cold packs are economical and adaptable, offering great versatility for a variety of uses. Rigid cold packs, on the other hand, provide enhanced durability and consistent long-term performance, making them ideal for repeated use and transporting heavier or bulkier items. Flexible cold packs are often the chosen option for customers seeking cost-effective or single-use isothermal packaging solutions.
Yes, our flexible cold packs are designed specifically for either refrigerated (positive) or frozen (negative) applications. There are distinct types of flexible cold packs for each temperature range, ensuring optimal performance for your specific cooling needs. It’s important to choose the appropriate type of cold pack based on whether you need to maintain refrigerated or frozen conditions.
The minimum order quantity for flexible cold packs is one pallet, with the specific number of packs varying by model. The company provides bulk orders only and does not offer individual units or loose boxes.
Clean flexible cold packs with mild soap and water, ensuring they are thoroughly dry before refreezing. Handle with care to avoid punctures or leaks.
